The most common hair loss reason is hereditary which usually happens with aging. The medical term for this kind of baldness is called androgenic alopecia male or female pattern baldness. It usually occurs with time and age. A receding hairline is the most common one. However one can find bald patches in men and thinning hairs along the crown of the scalp in women.
Hormonal Changes & Medical conditions:
Hormonal changes and certain medical conditions can cause hair loss such as hormonal changes due to pregnancy, childbirth, menopause, and thyroid problems.
